You will hardly ever have a problem shooting during fashion shows, as the music is played at a decent level. Actions you have to undertake for photography at a fashion show are quite similar to a pop concert. Look for a standpoint at the end of the catwalk and get up as high as possible. Shoot fashion models at eye level so the model or the clothes don't become disfigured. A small ladder may come in handy.

The good thing about a fashion show is that the models are walking there to show off the clothes. As a photographer you are very welcome, and the models will often pose right in front of you. Don't start shooting like crazy when the models walk towards you. Wait until they are at the end of the catwalk where they pose in four different ways before they return. Make sure you shoot those poses.
