Multilingual/Multicurrency

Many vendors have been struggling with the multinational customization problem. The reason is that multiple languages and multiple currencies were not part of the core architecture. Vendors who try to address this after-the-fact tend to have major integration problems with a resulting higher cost of localization. If you have a localization or currency conversion requirement, make sure that the vendors that you consider can demonstrate successful customization of multiple languages and multiple currencies. The successful vendors have placed language and currencies in a database table structure to facilitate maintenance and enhancements.
