This chapter provided an overview of the Cisco Secure ACS. You looked at the ACS server components and configuration requirements, in addition to the commands that are supported by Cisco IOS and are required to be configured on the NAS for the AAA process to work.

The services provided by AAA, especially authentication, are vital for the network security of your corporate network. It is important to plan the design of these services into your network. The late introduction of AAA services will be a lot harder to implement once the design and configuration for your network is complete.
