After our required plugins are installed in Jenkins, we can start putting together our first build. We'll start at the bare minimum for a code repository, and then demonstrate how to have Jenkins read that repository and automatically run a build when new code is checked in.
This project will need a Git repository available for Jenkins. If you don't have an already accessible Git repository, open up an account on GitHub and use a public repository. We're not writing anything sensitive, so it's okay that the world can see your repository.
