Puppetserver logging is managed by the config file located at /etc/puppetlabs/puppetserver/logback.xml on the PuppetDB server. This logback file contains entries for the following logs, which are in /var/log/puppetlabs/puppetserver, by default:

• puppetserver.log: Application activity with compilation errors
• pcp-broker.log: The log file for PCP broker activity on Puppet
• pcp-broker-access.log: The log file for users accessing PCP brokers on Puppet
• puppetserver-status.log: Status indicator for Puppetserver
