has been working as a Platform Architect (C/C++, Java, and Eclipse Expert) at SSI Schaefer IT Solutions for more than 12 years. His responsibilities include creating custom Eclipse IDE extensions as well as developing the whole headless build infrastructure for large-scale Eclipse-RCP-based products. In his spare time, he is developing a hobbyist OS kernel in assembler and C. He has spoken at various EclipseCon events around the world (US, France, and Germany) about Eclipse TEA, its predecessor (WAMAS Power Build), and related topics, including launch configurations. Markus has been published in the German periodical Eclipse Magazin .
