Francesca Woodman is remembered for her innovation in photography by taking ghostly, beautiful self-portraits. Unlike other self-portraits, which provided a clear view of the subject’s face, Woodman would often hide behind furniture or otherwise blur the photo by manipulating light, movement, and long exposure times.
