Grafana dashboards gallery

Both community-driven and official dashboards are available at https://grafana.com/dashboards and, as expected, there are a lot to choose from. Since we're interested in Prometheus-specific dashboards when searching the site, we should restrict the search results to that data source. By applying additional filters, we keep restricting results to exactly what we're after, as you can see in the following screenshot:

We can then select the dashboard we're interested in, which will in turn open a screen, as shown in the following screenshot:

Here, we can see some information regarding the dashboard and a screenshot of it. Notice the ID 9916 on the right; it's a unique identifier in the Grafana gallery for this particular dashboard. We can use it by going into a Grafana instance, such as the one in our test environment, clicking on the plus sign in the main menu on the left-hand side, selecting Import from the submenu, and pasting it in the appropriate text field, as shown in the following screenshot:

After pasting in the ID, a new menu will pop up, asking for the name we want to give to this dashboard, in which folder it should be placed, and what data source it should use. If there are any conflicts with pre-existing dashboards (such as dashboards with the same name), you will be asked to resolve them before you will be able to finish the import process.
