As an organizational psychologist and management consultant for more than twenty-five years, Dr. Irwin has assisted corporations in diverse industries, including fiber optics, real estate, financial services, baby products, information technologies, news and entertainment, insurance, hospitality, high-technology research, chemicals, sports marketing, auto parts, military optics, floor covering, bottling, quick-service restaurants, fibers and textiles, electronics, and pharmaceuticals. Dr. Irwin served from 2000 to 2005 in senior management of an international consulting firm with more than three hundred offices worldwide. Dr. Irwin’s work has taken him to more than twenty foreign countries in Europe, Latin America, Africa, North America, and the Far East.
His earlier books include Run with the Bulls without Getting Trampled and Derailed: Five Lessons Learned from Catastrophic Failures of Leadership. Dr. Irwin has been a contributor on numerous national media outlets, including Fox Business News, Fox & Friends, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, Investor’s Business Daily, and Business Week.
Dr. Irwin received his A.B. and M.A. from the University of Georgia. His Ph.D. training included a dual major in industrial/organizational and clinical psychology from Georgia State University. He is a licensed psychologist.
