In many of the examples in previous chapters we have used the JMS gateway without calling attention to it. This gateway, as the name suggests, handles the processing of messages which are carried over implementations of the Java Messaging Service, and is an asynchronous gateway.

Since the configuration of the JMS provider and listeners have been covered in the previous chapter, let us get into the action straight away.
