Part III provides the methods to establish the infrastructure for a risk aware culture. Organizational building blocks include establishing risk management policy, conducting training, verifying compliance, and improving the process.

Chapter 12, “Verify Compliance,” describes the method to verify compliance of risk management activities through an independent audit. Read Chapter 12 to learn how to ensure that project practices adhere to a documented risk management plan.

Chapter 13, “Improve Practice,” provides a method to ensure incremental improvement of risk management practices. Read Chapter 13 to understand how to appraise and improve risk management practices using a systematic approach.
