RethinkDB provides administrative functions that you can use to perform various administrative tasks such as granting permission to the table or database, changing the size of a cluster or shard, re-configuring failover shards, and so on. You can perform administrative operations either by using a web console or by using ReQL commands. In the next chapter, we will look over these in detail.
