In this chapter, we covered the third part of the Deploy and Configure Infrastructure objective by covering how to provision and configure VMs for Windows and Linux. You learned about the various aspects and parts that are created when you deploy a VM in Azure. We also covered how to automate the deployment of VMs using scale sets and ARM templates. Finally, we covered how to configure Azure Disk Encryption for VMs.
