Go to WIN2016IIS and log in to the IIS 10.0 server. Open the Server Manager, and go to the Tools menu.
Open IIS Manager and click on WIN2016IIS, as shown here:
Go to the Actions pane and click on Create Self-Signed Certificate. We are using this only for testing purposes. This local server certificate is not valid for the internet. Now the Create Self-Signed Certificate window will open, as shown here:
Here you can type a friendly name that you can use to easily identify the certificate. You can select the Personal or Web Hosting certificate store type; we'll select Personal. Click on OK. Now the certificate has been created, as shown here:
