As Azure and Azure Stack share the same portal UI, it is quite easy to get started with Azure Stack if you already know Azure. The portal provides access to the available services, the marketplace, and even governance features, such as RBAC.

As the portal works based on the role you log on with, you will have more or fewer features available, depending on the account you log on with.

The following screenshot shows what the Azure Stack portal looks like:

The Azure Stack portal looks more-or-less the same as the Azure Public one. This means that if you can work with one, you can use the other too.
