This chapter has provided an overview of the advanced configuration options that GoldenGate has to offer. We discussed data transformation and the vast array of functions and tools available and discovered that if GoldenGate does not provide a function or mapping specific to our requirements; we can write our own in PL/SQL, C, or C++.
