Download a few images from the web to work with this recipe. They could be anything, just ensure that all of them are of the same file type.

1. Navigate to the location where you saved the image files.
2. At the prompt, type in the following command to open your image viewer, and the files in it.

PS> Invoke-Item -Path *.png

3. Now, create a text file in the same location.

PS> New-Item file-1.txt -ItemType File

4. Now, invoke all the files in their respective applications.

PS> Invoke-Item *
