Direct Calls

Much like interpersonal communication, the direct approach works best but is often bypassed or overlooked. Hopefully, you do not worry about offending your code by communicating with it directly. Sometimes I have wondered when looking at the elaborate schemes people use for testing even when a direct approach is available.
