Dr. Perry Alexander is a professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department and Principal Investigator with the Information and Telecommunications Technology Center at The University of Kansas. He was among the original designers of the Rosetta specification language and continues to lead language design activities. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, where he has served as Vice-Chair and Chair of the Engineering of Computer-Based Systems Technical Commitee. He has published over 90 refereed publications, has presented numerous invited talks, and has won 15 teaching awards, including being named as a 2003 University of Kansas Kemper Teaching Fellow.
