Introduction

If you’ve never heard of the Akashic Record, you’re not alone. However, you’ve unknowingly had hundreds of interactions with it through the course of your life. It has undoubtedly inspired you, cautioned you, and guided your path. It has spoken to you through the lucid imagery of dreams or whispered to you in the quiet moments of meditation. It has sparked your imagination and stimulated your core truth.

What is the Akashic Record? It’s the memory of the universe, an imprint of events on an all-pervasive field of consciousness called the akasha. The Akashic Record receives the vibrational imprint of everything that has ever happened, is happening, and will ever happen. It’s more than the record of the history of humankind; all life is accounted for. Every physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual event, and the response to each event, of all forms of life are part of the Record.

Ancient people have shared a widespread belief in a celestial book, tablet, or library that contains the history of humanity and each soul’s journey. In the Bible, it’s called The Book of Life. Egyptians called it The Hall of Two Truths. Spiritualists called it the Akashic Record or the Hall of Records. Today, the belief continues in scientific theories of quantum holography, morphic resonant fields, and universal consciousness.

On a personal level, the Akashic Record holds the memory of your soul’s journey through this life and your past lives, too. It holds the purpose you came here to fulfill and the path you’re walking. The Akashic Record is a chronicle of all that you’ve ever said, thought, intended, or done, in the past and future. It’s the record of your soul’s evolution.

Most importantly, the Akashic Record is not static. It grows and evolves as creation grows and evolves. It not only holds the memory of your life, but it also interacts with you—stimulating your essence, healing your past, and providing creative inspiration. It permeates your consciousness and inspires your actions. To what end? Enlightenment. The best part is that the Akashic Record is available to you. You are the librarian; you hold the key.

How to Use This Book

This book has five parts, and each contains essential information for your journey into the Akashic Record. The journey into the Record is a journey into your personal past, present, and future.

Part 1, “Cosmic Record Keeping,” provides the fundamentals to understanding the Akashic Record. It explains what the Record is, how it works, and what it has to offer you. You’ll learn the laws that govern the Record and the basics of accessing it for yourself.

Part 2, “Pieces of the Akashic Puzzle,” delves into the history contained in the Akashic Record. It probes the mysteries of lost civilizations and the akashic influence on history. You’ll also explore your own hidden past in the Record and use its wisdom for healing old patterns.

Part 3, “The Akashic Present,” explores the relevance of the Akashic Record in your present circumstances. You can investigate your path and purpose and understand the circumstances of your life as revealed in the Record. It also looks at relationships and life challenges and supports you in living an authentic life.

Part 4, “Akashic Imprints,” looks at the probabilities of the future, new science, and “life between lives.” It explores your ability to read and affect the future through the Record and examines higher realms of existence.

Part 5, “Keys to the Library,” provides you with tools to read the Akashic Record through the signs around you, your dreams, and altered mind techniques. You’ll have everything you need to use the Record to guide your life.
