In this chapter we saw how to lay the foundation for a successful software course. We learned how to identify the needs that our course must fulfill. We learned to develop training scenarios that will be a strong simulation of real business use and develop these scenarios into specific exercises.
Next, we saw how to set criteria for assessing a student’s success at each of the objectives. Finally, we explored the importance of getting buy-in from the course sponsors.
In the next chapter we will look at how to develop the exercises into fully prepared tasks for your students.
