New Horizons Are Emerging
us, New Horizons of Value Rational Engineering stretch out in front of us. We can explore
them as we like.
Value in this emerging engineering is nothing other than satisfying our expectations. Ex-
pectations vary from person to person and when we feel satisfied enough, we feel the product, or
the process is, valuable. It should be emphasized that the value of processes is rapidly increasing.
It is more related to human needs.
In other words, the emerging New World is customer-centric. Our Old World has been
too much producer-centric.
When our expectations are satisfied, we do not care how they are satisfied. All’s Well that
Ends Well. If My Value can be secured, all approaches to this goal are reasonable, i.e., rational.
Let us make a big step forward toward the New World of Value Rational Engineering. I
