When many think of the Industrial Internet, they only think of manufacturing. As you've just seen, our definition is wider in this book. However, manufacturing requires a closer look, and we'll provide that in this section. We'll begin with an IIC testbed initiative and then provide some more examples of IIoT deployment in manufacturing.
