This reference IoT lifecycle provides guidance for building secure and scalable, device-centric solutions for connecting devices, conducting analysis, and integration with backend systems using the Microsoft platform. While these solutions may be built on public, private, and hybrid Azure cloud components, the core guidance is focused on public cloud implementations. The concept of this IoT lifecycle is also generally applicable to any IoT solution implementations, at any scale.
