Hugo gives you everything you need to concatenate, minify, and fingerprint your styles and scripts. Now that you have incorporated these features into the site, your visitors will see faster download times, and you will ensure they will not be stuck with out-of-date versions of your styles and scripts when you make future updates. Hugo’s image manipulation functions, along with shortcodes, make managing assets much less complex, which means much less effort is required for you to create content with images. And when Hugo isn’t enough, you now know how to integrate a Webpack-based workflow into your Hugo site.
