IP Services

This part of the book covers one of the six overall sections you must master for the CCNA exam. This part’s four chapters all deal with the wonderfully diverse world of IP services.

Part IV begins by examining the important Network Address Translation (NAT) that is critical in most IPv4 networks today. It then covers Network Time Protocol (NTP), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), and many more important protocols and services.
