Every goal requires particular skills for its accomplishment; it also requires a certain amount of knowledge, wisdom, and experience. Thus you must be sure that the person you are managing has the skills, knowledge, wisdom, and experience necessary to achieve the goal you want to assign. If you need to bring that person up to speed on any or all of these four elements, use the next tool to brainstorm the fastest and most effective way to do so.

• What concrete actions does it involve?
• What skills, knowledge, wisdom, and experience does it require?
• Using the information above as a base, figure out the fastest and most effective way to bring this person up to speed.
