You will learn about use cases of Azure Cache for Redis and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs). You will learn recommendations about data sizing, connections encryption, and cache expiration settings to build secure and optimized applications.

The rest of the part describes the main techniques of monitoring and troubleshooting applications running in Azure. You will discover Azure Monitor and Application Insights monitoring and telemetry services. The part introduces the main applications of instrumentation and monitoring frameworks hosted in Azure. You will learn how to use Application Insights and Azure Monitor to detect performance bottlenecks and handle errors. The chapter will also explain the alerting capabilities of the Azure platform.
