Application Insights collects data about requests that are processed by your application, together with traces that you send from your code. With all this information, Application Insights can be used to search for patterns by querying events, and Application Insights adds some machine learning algorithms to find anomalies automatically.
- In the App Service menu on the left, click on the Application Insights menu item:
- Then click on the View more in Application Insights link, which will open the Application Insights dashboard:
The dashboard contains a few widgets that allow you to quickly see what the status of your application is
- Click on the Search menu item to see the list of events and query them:
- You can click on the Filters button to see a list of the properties and the set of values that exists in the events, and also select the filters you want to narrow your searches:
