The muscles of the legs are some of the largest in the body, and moving those muscles requires big energy in the form of calories. Nothing fires up your metabolism like squats, lunges, and plyometric (jumping) exercises. The exercises in this part target the legs, including hips and glutes. They are designed to build strength and muscle tone while improving athletic performance. If you find a particular exercise too simple or too challenging, check the exercise progression guide for an alternate exercise that will work the same muscles.
