SSL (Secure Socket Layer)

Add security at the transport or network level, where when, the data is sent from the client to the server, it should be encrypted. The SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is the recommended way of securing information sent over the wire. Use SSL in a web application to encrypt all of the data that is sent from the client's browser to the server over the wire where it is decrypted at the server level. Apparently, it seems like a performance overhead, but due to the specifications of the server resources we have in today's world, it seems quite negligible.
