Dictionary overrides

A lot of brand new ServiceNow Admins make the mistake of directly modifying a field's label, attributes, or other dictionary properties, on a base table that is extended by other tables. For example, you might choose to modify the Short description field on the Incident table so the label says Issue description instead, but if you do so from the Form Designer, or on the base table (Task [task] in this case), you'll be changing it for all tables which extend task! This includes, requests, change tickets, and many other task types. Instead, we can use dictionary overrides and custom labels from the field dictionary.
