Desktop users of any of the supported operating systems can install the GUI variant of VeraCrypt. Be aware though, that you can't install both the console-mode variant and the GUI variant on the same machine, because one will overwrite the other. Since the main focus of this book is sever security, I won't go into the details of the GUI version here. But, it's fairly self-explanatory, and you can view the full VeraCrypt documentation on their website.
