Harry Greenspun, M.D., is the Chief Medical Officer of Dell Inc., providing strategic leadership with a clinical perspective. He has held a diverse range of clinical and executive roles across the industry, giving him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities faced in health care. In 2010, Modern Healthcare magazine named him one of the “50 Most Powerful Physician Executives in Healthcare.” Prior to working for Dell, he served as Chief Medical Officer for Northrop Grumman Corporation, providing subject matter expertise and strategic direction in military and veterans’ health, life sciences, and public health.

A recognized expert in health policy, Dr. Greenspun has advised the Obama administration and Congress on health care reform. He serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Health Advisory Board, and the boards of numerous universities, health care organizations, and publications.

Dr. Greenspun received his medical degree from the University of Maryland and completed his residency and fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he served as chief resident in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. As a cardiac anesthesiologist, he has practiced in major academic medical centers, as well as community hospitals.
