ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Our thanks and appreciation extend to all the wonderful collaborators we have met as we have written this book. The accessibility of resources open to everyone today, facilitated by worldwide increased connectivity, has enabled us to work with some incredible individuals. We have discovered a wealth of experts, masters in their own craft, all willing to share and extend their contribution. We have had overwhelming supportive and positive input.

Serendipity has played its part from the very beginning of the project when we were connected by a mutual colleague, Peter Swead. Then another colleague, Iain Ellwood, recommended that we contact Martin Liu at LID Publishing. And finally, we had the idea of a beautiful photograph to introduce each of the 31 chapters but had no idea that we would find the right kind of photographs for our book AND a happiness guru at the other end of the lens. Our thanks to Matthieu Ricard, his being and his amazing photography. More is shared about Matthieu and his work in Chapter 31, Photography. Our intent is that we continue to support his work in Tibet and Bhutan now that we have made that connection.

We have received invaluable feedback and positive appreciation on the draft manuscript from a number of colleagues across the globe, some of whom we have met simply through sharing our project with them. These people hold a rich variety of roles and interests ranging from senior executives in the private and public sector to leading academics and experts in marketing, customer service, complexity, psychology, organisational development and leadership. They are based in an equally diverse range of locations: Australia, Canada, China, France, Hong Kong, India, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, UK and Usa. We are proud to be associated with these people and thank them for their interest, time and giving spirit. We would like to extend our thanks to:
