PETER BARNES

Peter stepped forward early in Heartland’s story as an investor, counselor, and cheerleader. His generosity in hosting Craig at the Mesa Refuge, a writers’ retreat center, was the genesis of this book. He is a cofounder of On the Commons / Common Assets; the originator of the Sky Trust idea; an author; and an expert on the economics of natural resource commons.
