THE CONVENING INSTITUTE
The Convening Institute represents the interests of all convening and Art of Convening activities. The purpose of the Institute is to further the vision and mission of convening in the world while providing learning, training, advocacy, and research capabilities via virtual and in-person communities of engagement.
The Art of Convening Trainings
The Art of Convening Trainings are offered in several forms. In all Trainings, the participants travel the inner and outer path of the Convener, from The Heart of the Matter to Commitment to Action and all the territory in-between. These immensely practical trainings elicit the best and brightest inherent in each participant, leading to transformed engagements and meetings that deliver responsibility, accountability, and commitment. The Graduate Guild
The purpose of the Guild is to support, and encourage AoC Training graduates in the continual experiential learning via the practice, experimentation, inquiry, discovery, growth, and mastery of many dimensions of the AoC.

THE THOUGHT LEADER GATHERINGS—A COMMUNITY OF ENGAGEMENT FOR LEADERS
These member-based, monthly morning “conversations,” held in Minnesota and the San Francisco Bay Area, bring together leaders in corporate, nonprofit, and independent organizations who are devoted to combining visionary and on-the-ground discourse.
The TLGs are held in venues conducive to healthy human interaction. The format of each four-hour session is designed to stimulate and reveal the collective wisdom of the group in an efficient yet unhurried time frame. Drawing on ancient and modern group processes, the sessions open with remarks from a “conversation starter” and close with a “harvesting” session.

THE MEN’S WILDERNESS JOURNEY
Twice yearly, Craig Neal leads eight men on a guided journey of inner reflection and discovery into America’s most pristine wilderness. This is an opportunity to pause and take an intentional time-out to consider what is next. The beauty and wildness of the Boundary Waters Wilderness Canoe Area of northern Minnesota inspires all who take this journey.
