History Held in Devoted Hands
For a company that has so skillfully nurtured a rela-
tionship with its customers, the fact that Apple looks
forward, never back, seems to indicate a blind spot. Why
not establish an official museum in Cupertino, if for no
other reason than to feed the passion of Apple fans?
But Apple’s history is in good hands, even without the
company’s backing.
In fact, a big part of the Apple story is how
the design and function of its products inspire indi-
viduals to new creative heights. It makes sense that
certain Apple fans would find a calling to protect and
curate Apple artifacts in their own unique ways.
