This book has been written as a true team effort. It is a product of the collective work of many of our great colleagues in Potential Project. Ideally, all of us would be on the cover of the book, but it would get a little crowded.

A key role has been played by our science director, Hans Melo, who has been responsible for presenting all the science in this book accurately. In addition, Jason Beck, our research and evaluation scientist, has crunched the numbers of our surveys and assessments and supported the leadership research. Gillian Coutts has provided strategic advice. And we wouldn’t have been able to do anything without Matilda Havsteen.
