She is a consultant to companies, schools, and colleges; a popular author; and a dynamic and entertaining speaker who is considered a topic expert in the fields of training and performance, project management, and leadership. Russell's upbeat and humorous style enlightens and entertains as she offers practical insights for improving communication, teamwork, and leadership.

Russell's books include The Accelerated Learning Fieldbook, Project Management for Trainers, IT Leadership Alchemy, Leadership Training, and Training Triage. She is a frequent contributor to Inside Indiana Business, Cutter Executive Reports, and Network World, among other periodicals, and she publishes the monthly “Learning Flash” electronic newsletter. Russell has written project management programs for Villanova University and VNU Online Learning, as well as for many Fortune 1000 companies.
