Configuring Connectors for Deployment

To configure a connector using the WebLogic Server Administration console:

1.
Bring up the WebLogic server Administration console.

In the left pane, click on the domain you will be working in.

Expand the Deployments node.

Under Deployments in the left pane, click on the Connectors node. This should display a table of all the deployed connectors in the right pane.

5.
In the right pane, click on the “Configure a New Connector” link.

6.
From the options now listed in the right pane, select the RAR (archive file) that you want to configure.

8.
Click on “Select a Target Server From Among Available Servers.”

9.
Type in a name for the connector in the provided field.

10.
Click the Configure and Deploy button. The Deploy panel should display in the right pane of the Administration console.

11.
Information needs to be filled out on each of the tabs shown in the left column below. In the right column is a brief description of what information needs to be filled in.

ConfigurationEnter the deployment order.
TargetMove the target server from the Available list to the Chosen list.
DeployDeploy the connector to all or selected targets or undeploy it from all or selected targets.
MonitoringCheck the Enable Session Monitoring box associated with the Connector.
NotesOptionally, fill out any notes you feel might be of use to yourself or other administrators.
