Logging and Monitoring Transactions

Logging and monitoring occur at the server level. On each server, you can specify a transaction log file prefix (though for administrative purposes you'll probably wish to maintain some level of uniformity).

To display transaction statistics and to set the prefix for the transaction log files, do the following:

1.
Get to the Administration console screen.

In the left pane, expand the Server icon. This should display a list of configured servers.

3.
Click on the particular server you're interested in.

4.
In the right pane, click on the Monitoring tab.

5.
Click on the JTA tab.

6.
Click on the Logging tab.

7.
Click on the JTA tab.

8.
Type in the prefix for your transaction log file and click “Apply.” The settings will take effect after you restart the server.
