Full-fledged OAuth2 support for a Spring WebFlux application is not available in Spring Security at the time of writing this book. However, there is a community urgency around this and many things are slowly and steadily getting into Spring Security in this regard. Many examples are also getting baked into the Spring Security project that show OAuth2 with Spring WebFlux. In the Chapter 5, Integrating with Spring WebFlux, we saw one such example in detail. As of writing this book, Spring Security OAuth2 has a hard dependency on Spring MVC.
