Hyperledger Sawtooth follows the same architecture and characteristics as other Hyperledger frameworks; it is an enterprise blockchain platform for building distributed ledger applications and networks.

In my opinion, the most striking characteristic of Sawtooth is the facility to use the APIs, as well as many languages such as Python, C++, Go, Java, JavaScript, and Rust.
