Transaction Methods
In Part I, Transaction Foundations, we introduced the idea of a pattern that most transactions conform to and discussed some related disciplines that will help business folk understand why the Transaction Pattern might help in the next system refresh or process re-engineering project.
In Part II, Transaction Methods, we go into more detail about the components of the Transaction Pattern. These include the tasks that are performed in each phase of the pattern, tasks that can be implemented once and used in different transactions, and a generic way to record and manage interactions with customers. Then we recommend a framework for conducting requirements workshops and documenting requirements.
