Relational Object Manager

As of July 1998, Informix is still making many of the graphical utilities available at no cost to their customers through the Informix Web site. The tools are:

• Table Editor

• SQL Editor

• Database Explorer

These three tools, along with the INFORMIX-Connect connectivity package, have been grouped together and called Remote Object Manager. They were first made available in late 1997 through the Informix Web site, http://www.informix.com, and have also been incorporated into the NT server product distributions as well.

These tools will change somewhat in format beginning with Version 7.3, but it is believed that these changes will not alter the general concepts. This book is written as 7.2 versions are available, but 7.3 is not yet available.
