As lot of organizations are adopting serverless computing. Functionbeat is one of the latest additions to the Beats family, starting with the Elastic Stack 6.5, and is used to collect events on serverless environments and ship these events to Elasticsearch. At the time of writing, these events can only be sent to Elasticsearch.
