Summary

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 provides new analytics and reporting capabilities to end users. It also provides the ability for the developer to extend the functionality if the out-of-the-box analytics are not able to fulfill the business requirements.

In this chapter, we walked through how to use Filters with the list, how to use Charts, and also how to create Custom Charts. We also covered Dashboards in CRM 2011, and now know how to use the System Dashboards and how to create our own Custom Dashboards. The new business intelligence capabilities in the application allow us to visualize the data better, in order to help us drive more sales, support our customers better, and make better business decisions. In the next chapter, we will introduce how to extend Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 in the cloud.
