Chapter 17. Using SQL*Loader, External Tables, and Export/Import

This chapter introduces the reader to the Oracle data loading and data movement utilities: SQL*Loader, External Tables, and Export and Import. SQL*Loader, Export, and Import have been with the Oracle product in one form or another since version 4 where the External Tables are new with Oracle9i. This chapter will cover usage of all of these utilities.
