About the Author

Rosemarie Withee is president of Portal Integrators (www.portalintegrators.com) and founder of Scrum Now (www.scrumnow.org), the first Philippine-based Scrum organization with locations in Seattle, Washington and Laguna, Philippines. Portal Integrators is a Scrum-based software and services firm. She is the lead author of Office 365 For Dummies (Wiley, 2016), SharePoint 2016 For Dummies (Wiley, 2016), and Office 365 Apps For Dummies (Wiley, 2016).

Rosemarie earned a Master of Science degree in Economics at San Francisco State University. In addition, Rosemarie also studied Marketing at UC Berkeley-Extension and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from De La Salle University, Philippines.

Ken Withee is founder of Portal Integrators (www.portalintegrators.com), a Scrum-based software and services firm. He lives with his wife Rosemarie in Seattle, Washington. He is the author and coauthor of a number of books on Microsoft technologies and currently writes TechNet articles on Office Server products for Microsoft.

Ken earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at San Francisco State University. He has more than 14 years of professional computer and management experience working with a vast range of technologies. He is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist and is certified in SharePoint, SQL Server, and .NET.

Ace Cyrille Gatcion earned a degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Laguna College, and has been a web developer at Portal Integrators for two years. He specializes in programming with JavaScript and PHP and has also been a Microsoft Certified Professional and Specialist in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 since May 2014. Ace has also just recently finished leading a SharePoint-based project, which has been one of the biggest challenges he has faced and conquered. When he’s not working, he de-stresses by playing with his beloved Siamese cat, and working on his photo-editing skills.

Genelyn “Gen” Ancheta holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Colegio de San Juan de Letran. She is a tireless seeker of knowledge, a thinker, and incidentally, also a web developer with Portal Integrators. Gen has more than 10 years of web, mobile, and database development experience. She is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer specializing in SharePoint applications. She loves listening to music, and when she is not busy debugging code, she indulges in watching movies and TV series.

Jeff Michael De Las Alas is a developer with Portal Integrators who finished his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Laguna College. Before being with Portal Integrators, he worked as an intern in a cable TV company from his hometown. Jeff’s excellence in his chosen field was shown when he received several awards from his college, including the Best in Thesis, Excellence in Programming, and Leadership awards. Achievements aside, Jeff is just a regular guy who likes watching anime in his free time.

Mariel Pamulaklakin is a developer at Portal Integrators. She graduated from the University of the Philippines – Los Baños with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. She has been with Portal Integrators for over two years, continuously honing her skills in web and mobile development in the company. She is also a Microsoft Certified Professional and a Specialist in programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3. Outside of work, Mariel is a church choir member, a dog lover, and a self-confessed nerd who dreams of traveling the world in the near future.

Marriel Bondad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology graduate from Laguna College. She is a developer with Portal Integrators, and has worked as an intern in a local government office. She can be described as a responsible and diligent person when it comes to her career, which was proven by her achievements as a Best in Programming and Leadership awardee, and a scholarship grantee. Marriel also served as President of the Junior Philippine Computer Society – Laguna College Chapter. Outside her professional life, she is a semi-introvert and an aspiring photographer who enjoys the adventurous side of life, discovering new places, and working on achieving her dreams.
